Christopher Konop, Ph.D.
Postdoc, Department of Zoology

Christopher has his Ph.D. in the field of neurobiology and is currently a postdoc in the Department of Zoology where he studies neuropeptide mediated signaling pathways involved in motor control. Before co-founding WiSolve Consulting Group, Christopher participated in the Wisconsin Entrepreneurial Bootcamp. He has consulted for a small pharmaceutical company, working on a wide range of projects in technology assessment, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and helping to generate investor-facing materials. Christopher is an Advisory Board member for the Advocacy Consortium for Entrepreneurs (ACE) and the outreach chair for the UW-Madison Postdoctoral Association. As Director of Marketing at WiSolve, Christopher is responsible for fostering relationships with our strategic partners, acquiring new clients, and managing the portfolio of current engagements.


Director of Technology
Jonathan Lenz, Ph.D.
Postdoc, Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology

Jonathan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology where he studies how pathogenic bacteria interact with human tissues. Since arriving at UW he has been active in postdoctoral leadership, serving as President of the UW-Madison Postdoctoral Association since 2015, sitting on the 2014 steering committee of the Office of Postdoctoral Studies, and representing postdocs at MMI department faculty meetings from 2012-2016. In addition, Jonathan co-created a 2013 MMI department course on administrative back-office skills for postdocs & lab managers, and participated in the 2016 Postdoctoral Training Course on Scientific Leadership & Management. He is the recipient of an NRSA Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. As Director of Technology, Jonathan oversees WiSolve’s digital assets, electronic record keeping, application process, evaluations, and website.


Director of Finance
Anurag Agrawal
Graduate Student, Chemical Biology, Department of Chemistry

Anurag is a Ph.D. candidate in chemistry and is working in the field of antimicrobial peptides. Anurag has been a lead host for chemistry graduate recruiting events and is an elected representative of the Graduate Student Faculty Liasion Committee (GSFLC). Anurag is pursuing a graduate certificate in strategic innovation from the UW–Madison School of Business. Anurag has experience in accounting, strategic planning, and strategic management of innovation. He has also participated in the Wisconsin Entrepreneurial Bootcamp. Anurag has consulted with a local biotech company to help them clarify their market position and raise capital from potential investors. As Director of Finance, Anurag is responsible for accounting, billing, and fundraising needs of the group.

Albert Chen
Graduate Student, Microbiology Program

Albert is a Ph.D. candidate in the Microbiology Doctoral Training Program. He is passionate about helping postdocs and graduate students prepare for their future careers, and as such, he helped to organize the Life Sciences Careers Day in 2016. Albert is also an alumnus of the Wisconsin Entrepreneurial Bootcamp. As Director of Professional Development, Albert is responsible for organizing training and networking events for WiSolve.
